Well, without retracting my previous comments, Tuesday's win at QPR was another super result. And once again we have an opposing manager who can't handle being beaten by the O's. Of course, John Gregory didn't want to make excuses, but he did have several first-teamers unavailable due to minor knocks... sorry, but that sounds exactly like an excuse to me, and in fact it was Martin Ling who was forced into more changes than his opposite number.

So we await the draw for the second round, where we face Premier League (non-European qualifying) or Championship opposition. So it could be West Ham or Fulham - or, just as likely, Cardiff or Sheffield United. We'll find out in an hour or so after tonight's match.
